The Way Station Food Pantry is a Second Harvest Partner Agency and ministry of the Church of the Hill with non-paid Directors and volunteer staff. A Board of Directors exists to provide oversight and governance to ensure the Pantry remains aligned with the mission and in compliance with both Church and Second Harvest guidelines. The Food Pantry regularly reports on needs, program and budget through regular meetings of the Church of the Hill Administrative Board. The Directors maintain an active group of volunteers (from both the Church of the Hill and the community) to help with the overall operations, including but not limited to preparing the food bags and distributing the food to clients during open hours.

As a Second Harvest Partner Agency, The Way Station Food Pantry cannot discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activities. The Way Station Food Pantry Directors do reserve the right to refuse clients or remove clients if they abuse a policy or engage in behavior that threatens ministry directors and/or volunteers.
